Orders rushing in at The Running Fox

We’ve been working closely with clients to help them navigate the challenges and uncertainty generated by COVID-19, one of which is The Running Fox, which owns three artisan bakeries and cafés in Northumberland. With social distancing measures bringing the business to a halt, our client was keen to explore alternative methods of generating income and serving their community during this difficult time.

Our solution To help, we deployed a ‘Click & Collect’ solution by Preoday for their café in Felton within 48 hours. The system integrated with their existing Quantum EPOS software, which means they were up and running in no time.

The results

The Running Fox are now able to easily sell their products online, including essential food packages, as well as goods from other local suppliers. Following the successful implementation at Felton, we are currently introducing the system to their café in Longframlington.

Commenting on the project, Jon from The Running Fox said; "Well! We are into day 2 of going "live" with Preoday. Preoday is integrated into our current EPOS Cunningham's system, Quantum.

The takeaway orders are coming in all the time. In the current climate, this takeaway service is vital.

Once we were set up, and got used to the new way of working, it is serving us really well. Cunningham's support has been fantastic, especially Gary Worton. Preoday gave us online training and have responded quickly to our questions.

The fact that that the Preoday software uses our current EPOS system was the deal maker for us."
